Media Training

Media Training is essential if you want to succeed under pressure, when dealing with journalists on TV, radio and in the press. Discover how to handle tough questions, create a compelling sound-bite and stay calm under the studio lights.

This coaching can be provided as:
  • Full-day group coaching
  • 1-to-1 coaching (usually before an important event)
After working with us, you will have developed the advanced skills & techniques that will help you excel at:
  • Pre-recorded interviews– learn how to navigate the interview where your comments are never off-the-record
  • Live TV and Radio interviews– feel confident navigating the live studio environment, so that you will be at ease on the day
  • Remote interviews– discover how to be engaging when you can’t see the interviewer
  • Spin versus honesty – how to handle tough questions and tell the truth without losing face
  • Sound-bites- to deliver any message quickly and persuasively, using proven, powerful techniques
This will give you:
  • Bottom Line Results – people will be led emotionally and logically to give you or your company the respect it deserves
There are two key elements to your training:
  • Pre-Interview Preparation – Learn the key strategies and techniques that will ensure your success on the day, by preparing the right statements, sound-bites and stories.
  • Going Live– Gain real-life interview experience with a professional journalist.  This includes video/audio playback and personal coaching for your particular goals.

You will also learn the techniques used by everyone from politicians to actors, to help you feel calm, collected and confident.
